I went to Mass and heard Father Bill during his homily. I was hooked! When Jack retired and moved full-time to Tahoe, I dragged him to Mass on Mount Rose. Father Bill brought us back to an active life in the church of our youth. He was also our favorite workout buddy at High Altitude Fitness. Bless you, Father Bill. We honor you for your humbleness, humanity, honesty, support of social and human rights, and leadership. Megan & Jack Chillemi

Some priests appear to put themselves on pedestals. But Father Bill considers himself a fellow parishioner. His personal and religious counsel makes one feel like you are his very best friend. That is why he is the best priest I’ve ever known. Roger Christensen
To live in the midst of the world,
Without desiring its pleasures;
To be a member of each family, Yet belonging to none;
To share all sufferings;
To penetrate all secrets;
To heal all wounds;
To go from men to God And offer Him their Prayers;
To return from God to men
To bring pardon and hope;
To have a heart of fire for charity
And a heart of bronze for chastity;
To teach and to pardon,
Console and bless always-- What a glorious life!
And it is yours, O Priest of Jesus Christ!
